I'm driving up Interstate 5 from Los Angeles to Santa Clarita this evening on my way to an evening church meeting. The traffic is thick with commuters slogging home as it always is at that time in that direction. I notice a white SUV to my left with this license plate:
I H8 I5
I laughed. I sympathize. On the other hand is that really the most important personal statement the guy can think of to put on the back of his car. how about telling us what you love, buddy, instead of what you hate. I have a real "vanity" plate with my name REV RCKY. What's on your license plate?

That is pretty sad. That must be what he feels very passionate about. I never shelled out the money for vanity plates, but I filled out the paperwork once before chickening out. I wanted my plates to read:
UR LUVD
My favorite plates ever by the way, were GDAY M8. It just put such a smile on my face!
Oh, I don't know. He probably makes a lot of people laugh. And feel in sympathy with the other drivers. So, see, he's promoting bonding. :)
